The Rusty Bucket Story:

A young fellow came up to an old man sitting quietly on the porch of a large house, and asked him why there was a single rusty bucket with flowers in amongst all the other fancy flowerpots in front of the house.  The old man explained that the rusty bucket was used during almost every stage of the house’s construction.

First, it was used to carry water for mixing concrete for the foundations, then to hold the mortar for bricklaying, then for plastering the walls, to hold small tools like hammers and nails for the roof construction, then the waterproofing and finally the painting of the entire house.

So even though it is now only a rusty bucket, it is such a flexible tool that many different tasks can be accomplished with it.

Lucas Botha is a highly successful architect and project manager who has managed many large-scale projects both in South Africa and the Middle East during a career spanning more than twenty years.  Working with multi-national companies such as Exxon Mobil, Shell, Total and EADS, has given him an understanding of working with clients at all levels of the construction industry.  Armed with an MBA in International Management from the University of London, he is responsible for the day to day running of the company. 

Lucas firmly believes that teamwork and cooperation between all stakeholders is essential for the successful completion of all projects.

Jaco Botha has a highly respected track record in the construction industry.  His ability to set and achieve deadlines is virtually unsurpassed.  This is achieved by organizing and managing materials and labour very carefully, yet very strictly.  His teambuilding ability amongst both professionals and labourers has earned him respect as it ensures excellent productivity and cooperation resulting in the required progress to achieve or even improve on contract dates.
